The Glasco Fire Company is now accepting volunteer applications for membership during each of the 4 quarters of the year; January, April, July and October. If you, or someone you know, is interested in becoming a Glasco Volunteer Firefighter, please download our membership application and deliver your completed application, with a check or money order for $5.00, made payable to GLASCO FIRE DISTRICT, to any Monday evening drill at the firehouse. JR. FIREFIGHTER PROGRAM
The Glasco Fire Company #29, is offering a Jr. Firefighter Program. In order to be eligible you must be 16-18 years of age and live in the Glasco Fire District.

JR FIREFIGHTER PROGRAMS FAQ’S
When Can I start going to emergency calls?
Each Junior member must come to the first month of training and return a signed copy of the rules and regulations given to them when accepted. Once their parents sign the acknowledgment form They can start responding to emergencies as outlined in that policy.
Are there limitations to what I can do?
Yes. All limitations will be thoroughly explained to you at your orientation.
What can I do?
Again this will be explained at training’s and at your orientation.
How old must I be to become a Junior member?
You must be at least 16 years of age.
What about training?
Training is conducted each Monday evening or as noted at the firehouse. You may attend each class/drill unless otherwise stated by the training officer.
Can you meet with my parents?
Yes. We will be willing to meet with them and explain the program.
