Our Mission: To organize a group of well trained, able bodied men and women, who would work for the common good, on a 100% volunteer basis, in combating fires and other types of emergencies, while also providing public service and education in the Glasco Fire District’s community, with dedication to the preservation of life and property.

We are a 100% Volunteer Fire Department, located in Upstate New York, in a Hamlet of Saugerties.

The Department consists of 1 Fire Station, located on Liberty Street Extension, in Glasco, New York. Our apparatus is comprised of 1 Tanker/Engine, 2 Engines, 1 Rescue, and 2 Marine units.

​Glasco has 50 active members, who are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
