BE IT RESOLVED, that the Inspectors of Election of the Glasco Fire District shall meet on the 29th day of December, 2025, between the hours of 7:00 o'clock p.m., and 7:30 o'clock p.m., at the Glasco Fire House, Liberty Street Extension, Glasco, New York, for the purpose of preparing the rolls of registered voters of the Fire District.

A Special Election of the Glasco Fire District will be held on January 12, 2026, between the hours of 6:00 o'clock p.m. and 9:00 o'clock p.m., at the Glasco Fire House, Liberty Street Extension, Glasco, in the Town of Saugerties, New York.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that only those persons who have registered with the County Board of Elections on or before the 22nd day of December, 2025, shall be eligible to vote.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Annual Election of the Glasco Fire District will take place on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 between the hours of 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm at the Glasco Fire Station located at 139 Liberty Street Extension, Glasco, NY 12432 for the following purpose:

To elect (1) Fire District Commissioner for a five (5) year term commencing January 1, 2026 and ending December 31, 2030.

All residents of the Glasco Fire District, who are duly registered to vote with the Ulster County Board of Elections on or before November 17, 2025 shall be entitled to vote at this election.

Any person desiring to have his or her name appear on the ballot for the above office must have filed a written request with the Secretary of the Fire District no later than November 19, 2025.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Glasco Fire District, at a meeting thereof held on the 10th day of November, 2025, duly adopted a resolution, subject to permissive referendum, approving the purchase of one (1) new 2026 Chevrolet, four-wheel drive, crew cab pick-up truck for a sum not to exceed Fifty-four Thousand, five hundred sixty-nine and 50/100 Dollars ($54,569.50), from Romeo Chevrolet, and a lights and sirens package from Up to Parr Lighting for a sum not to exceed thirty-two thousand, five hundred fifty-two and 00/100 Dollars ($32,552.00.) PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that the Board of Fire Commissioners also approved the payment of said sums the total of which not to exceed Eighty-seven thousand, one hundred twenty-one and 50/100 Dollars ($87,121.50) from the Truck Reserve Fund for the purchase of the vehicle and lights and sirens package, subject to a permissive referendum.

Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received by John J. Greco, Esq., acting for and on behalf of the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Glasco Fire District in the Town of Saugerties, Ulster County, New York, until 5:00 o’clock P.M. Eastern Standard Time on November 10, 2025, for the supplying and furnishing of a 2026 four-wheel drive, standard box, crew cab, 3/4 ton pickup truck and accessories. Bids will then be opened and publicly read aloud at the Glasco Firehouse, 139 Liberty Street Extension, Glasco, New York, on November 10, 2025, at 6:00 o’clock P.M.

All bids will be on bidding sheets, enclosed in a sealed envelope, and shall be delivered to John J. Greco, Esq., the attorney for the Glasco Fire District, at his office located at the Governor Clinton Building, 1 Albany Avenue, Kingston, New York. Bids may be for just the pickup truck or just the accessories, or together as a package bid.

Plans and specifications may be obtained at the office of John J. Greco, Esq., at the Governor Clinton Building, 1 Albany Avenue, Kingston, New York. The Board of Fire Commissioners reserves the right to accept any proposal presented, subject to a permissive referendum, or to reject any or all proposals presented, to contract with other than the lowest bidder, as provided by law or to write new proposals.

Glasco Rescue 29-16 heading South to Louisiana. Safe trip, you had a great run and served us well.

From the Springfield Fire Dept. - Today (Monday), we took delivery of our newest rig. This is a 2003 American LaFrance Heavy Rescue. The truck and transportation was funded 100% by the  Fireman’s Poker Run!! We appreciate the care that was given to the truck by the Glasco Fire Co. We will continue to take care of her as she serves our community. Thank You everyone that supports our poker run. You made this possible!! The truck is currently at station 1 in Springfield. The truck will be permanently assigned as Rescue 255 located at station 5 on Hutchinson Rd.
